Debt Free Down Under

by Harry
(Perth, Australia)

Hi

Well I have two homes, one worth 600k the other 425k... mortgages of 115k and 154k... income joint 100,000.

We lived way beyond our means and had 60,000 in credit cards and personal loans. I'm now debt free except the homes thanks to a guy called Dave Ramsey who we get on TV here in Australia.

Man this guy is awesome. I got his book, applied the principles, and payed all debt except the homes down in 26 months. Now on a budget under Dave's plan. We are selling the second home so will end up debt free with 600k house an about 300k in our suoer which is like a 401k in the US.

I now live debt free and love it. We are generating wealth through our income. It's so easy it's not even funny. I urge everyone in debt... listen and watch Dave Ramsey or get on UTube and watch his lecture on debt part 1-9. Unreal, it changed our lives and now my friends want to know why we live like no one else. So later we can live like no one else. Cash is king - debt is dumb.

Good Luck
Happy Aussies

Good Tip to learn how to take control of your finances!
by: Cheryl

I'm checking out Dave Ramsey as I've heard his name dropped before. He seems to know his stuff, when it comes to taking control of your money and getting rid of debt. Thanks for the tip Harry!
