Taco Seasoning Recipe
I've used this first taco seasoning recipe for years to save money on my grocery budget. It saves lots of money as compared to those little one meal packages. It is a stronger version of the seasoning so less is required. My kids love tacos. They are a delicious and easy frugal recipe to serve. You provide the ingredients and toppings and let everyone make their own. I've added some other taco seasoning recipes for those who want to compare and choose a favorite. 1. My Favorite Taco-Seasoning Recipe6 teaspoons chili powder 4 1/2 teaspoons cumin 5 teaspoons paprika 3 teaspoons paprika 3 teaspoons onion powder 2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Mix all the ingredients, and store in an airtight container. Directions: 1. In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine flour, onion flakes, garlic, chili powder, oregano, cumin, and salt. Close lid securely, and shake well to mix contents. One half cup is equivalent to 1 (1.25 ounce) package of taco seasoning. 3. Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix Recipe1 Tablespoon chili powder 2 teaspoons onion powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon paprika1 teaspoon powdered oregano 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
